Housing Portal guide

When you want to access the Housing Portal account to manage repairs and view your rent balance online, we first need to verify your account details.

This is a security measure and you will only have to do this once.

When you are ready please visit the services page on your My Harrow Account, this will open in a new window so you can follow the instructions below.

Don't have a MyHarrow Account?

If you do not already have a MyHarrow account, you will need to register for one.

When you have successfully logged in or registered you will need to follow these steps:

  1. Select the add a service button.
  2. Find the Council Housing service box and select add and the button will turn green and show a tick icon
  3. Now select confirm

When the page refreshes, you will need to find the Council Housing service box and select link.

This will take you to a form where you will need to enter the following information:

  • your date of birth
  • your rent payment number (this is usually a 9 to 14 digit number that can be found on any tenancy related documents you receive from us.)

Once you have entered these details select submit.

If you are shown a red error message instead of the form mentioned above, select back and try the link button again on the Council Housing service box.

Once you have submitted the form you have completed your part of the verification process.

We then need to make sure from a security point of view that your online housing information is linked to the correct tenant.

Please note that this final security step can take up to 48 hours.

When your account has completely been verified, you can log in to your Housing Portal by visiting housingportal.harrow.gov.uk.

You will be asked to provide your MyHarrow Account log in details before being redirected to your Housing Portal dashboard.

Please note that if you are already in your MyHarrow Account, you can get to your Housing Portal dashboard by selecting show details in the Council Housing service box.
