Methods to pay and check your balance
You can set up a Direct Debit:
- over the phone - you will need to provide your council tax account number and bank details
- using the Direct Debit application form - please print, complete and return it to us

MyHarrow Account is the most versatile method to manage you council payments - you can do the following online:
- check your balance
- view instalments and Direct Debits
- set up reminders and more
You can pay online using sort code 60-10-10 (National Westminster, St Anns Road Harrow Branch) and account number 61742473. Please ensure that you quote your reference number as only the 7 digit council tax account number.
You can pay 24/7 via our automated telephone line. Have a pen to hand to write down the receipt number. Please note there is a 1.5% charge for credit cards.

Pay at the Civic Centre
You can pay at the Civic Centre using the automated kiosk, near the main reception. Opening hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am - 7pm. Please bring with you your council tax account number and a note of the payable amount. The kiosk accepts:
- debit and credit cards excluding American Express and Diners Club.
Smartphone QR code
A QR code is a small image of black and white squares which when scanned by a smartphone calls up a webpage. If you have a smartphone you can scan the council tax payments QR code, which will take you directly to our payments page.
Banks and post offices
From 1 April 2013 paying at the bank or post office with an Allpay card is no longer an option we support.
