Canons Park was awarded Green Flag status in 2024. View all Green Flag parks.

Canons Park is listed as Grade II on the Register of Parks and Gardens. The park has several listed buildings. The King George V Memorial Garden is a walled garden in the park. It was originally part of the duke's kitchen gardens.

In the 1930s, it was re-designed after the park opened to the public. The park has a nice open space. It includes a children's play area, a small café, a green gym, and a basketball hoop. There are also ponds and a general recreation area for running, bootcamps, and informal ball games.

Barbeques in our parks

One of the most common causes of grass fires is private barbeques in parks. Barbeques are not allowed in any parks in Harrow at any time. Dropped cigarettes and glass bottles can be a fire risk. Please help us keep our parks safe and tidy by using a bin or taking your rubbish home.

Gate access and trespassing

Fencing in our parks and open spaces must not be changed. Gates must not allow direct access from a garden to a park. Accessing green space land from a garden is trespass. Any unauthorised access will lead to action by the council. You will be asked to rebuild any missing fencing and cover the costs. This will include any legal costs.
