School admission arrangements

Proposed school admission arrangements 2023 - 24

All schools have admission arrangements which set out how children will be admitted. This includes the admissions criteria that is used if there are more applications than school places available.

School admission arrangements are determined by the admissions authority. Harrow Council is the admissions authority for all community schools in Harrow. The admission authority for voluntary aided schools and academies is the governing body of the individual school.

Harrow community schools consultation

As the admissions authority for community schools in Harrow, we have to have a public consultation when we propose to make changes to admission arrangements. We propose to make changes to school admission arrangements for September 2023.

We propose to reduce the Published Admissions Number (PAN) for:

  • Grange Primary School from 90 to 60 pupils for Reception for September 2023

We will continue to have sufficient places to meet the demand for places and this reduction in PAN is being proposed to support the school.

The consultation for the new admission arrangements took place between 8 November 2021 and 20 December 2021.
