Current Local Plan

Site allocations

The Site Allocations Local Plan is a document that lists and identifies locations, and other planning designations, outside of the Harrow and Wealdstone Intensification Area.

The document identifies the locations and sites for specific types of development. These include housing and employment, and sites to be protected through planning polices, such as retail frontages and open spaces. Its purpose is to ensure the vision, objectives and spatial development strategy of the Core Strategy are given effect and implemented.

The Site Allocations document has been found sound by an Independent Planning Inspector appointed by the Secretary of State. It was adopted on 4 July 2013.
