Harrow's local plan core strategy
Our core strategy is a key part of the local plan. It sets out our strategic approach to managing growth and development to 2026.
We submitted our core strategy to the Secretary of State on 24 June 2011 for Examination. The public hearing sessions of the Examination were held between 27 September and 6 October 2011.
We received the planning inspector's report on 13th December 2011 that confirmed that the core strategy was 'sound'.
The core strategy was adopted at a meeting of the full Council on 16th February 2012 and is now a part of the development plan for the borough.
