What happens next?
- If the Council owns the land or building, we'll remove the graffiti within 3 weeks.
- If the graffiti is offensive, we'll try to remove it within 1 working day.
- If the graffiti is on private property, the owner must remove it.

Graffiti on private property
We do not remove graffiti from private homes or businesses unless it is offensive. The owner must remove it.
Graffiti on a bus shelter
We do not remove graffiti on bus shelters. Report it to JCDecaux on 0808 164 5081 or visit the JCDecaux website.
Graffiti on a railway bridge
We do not remove graffiti on railway bridges. Report it to Network Rail.
Graffiti on a telephone booths or poles
We do not remove graffiti on telephone booths or poles. Report it to Openreach
