Have your say on the future of Harrow’s School Streets

The roads around schools are often clogged with traffic at the start and end of the school day. School Streets restrict vehicle access outside schools during drop-off and pick-up times, which helps to reduce congestion and the risk of casualties, making the journey to school safer for pupils.

Four School Streets were developed in 2020 to create safer, more pleasant environments outside schools, as well as create safe spaces to help social distancing during the pandemic. The schemes were implemented using Experimental Traffic Regulation Orders (ETRO). Under the ETRO process, the scheme can be modified and can remain in place for up to 18 months.
