Apply for a Selective licence

You can apply for a Selective licence online which is valid for up to 5 years.

You will need a MyHarrow account to apply for a licence in Harrow. If you do not have an account or this is your first time using this new service:

Applying for a Selective licence

To apply for a Selective licence you will need:

  • A method of payment for the administration fee of £620
  • Floor plan of the property
  • Gas safety certificate (if applicable)
  • Electrical safety certificate
  • EPC (Energy Performance certificate)
  • Tenancy agreement
  • Anti-social behaviour plan.

What happens next?

  • An officer will confirm your residential application. They will do so within 5 working days.
  • Your application may not be successful if there is missing or incomplete information.
  • Once a draft licence has been issued, the consultation period will begin. It will last for 14 calendar days.
  • We will request the enforcement fee before a licence can be issued to you.

To submit a renewal application, you will need to register for a MyHarrow account and add your licence to your account.

  • How to add your licence to your account: Check your email for a message from noreply@harrow.gov.uk requesting you to add your licence. Follow the instructions in the email to complete the process.
  • Didn’t Receive the email? Please check your junk and spam folder. If you still can’t locate the email, complete a licence enquiry to update your information and request the email.

If any of these documents have changed or expired please submit them again:

  • A method of payment for the administration fee of £620
