There has been an increase in the use of Advertising/A boards throughout the borough, leading to issues of obstruction and cluttering of the highway.
As a result, the council has introduced a Licencing Policy for Advertising (A) boards on the public highway.
Prior to making an application, all traders must read the Policy and have an approved licence before placing an advertising board on the public highway.
It is the responsibility of the licence to ensure the advertising board does not obstruct pedestrians using the public highway.
How much does an advertising board licence cost?
The cost of an Advertising Board Licence is £182.50 per year.
How can I apply?
Please download and complete the licence application form, and then email it to our highways team at nrswa@harrow.gov.uk.
