Training for childcare providers

The Harrow Early Years team is committed to helping childcare providers get the training they need. This supports them to achieve improved results for the children in their care as well as providing them with continued professional development (CPD). See our comprehensive, high quality training schedule.

Our aim is to give children the best education possible. We work to improve outcomes and close gaps in achievement so that children are better prepared for school. We help settings improve their ability to meet the needs of children with Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND). This is in line with the SEND strategy which has identified the need for high quality provision and outcomes for all children.

The importance of CPD can really make a difference to your practice. The Effective Provision of Pre-School Education (EPPE) report highlights that a trained workforce positively affects quality, which in turn improves outcomes for children.
