Women in leadership programme
Harrow is home to a vibrant community of women who lead, build, inspire, and make valuable contributions to their firms and organisations.
The Women in Leadership Apprenticeship programme was launched to provide support and training to women entrepreneurs, managers and employees, to become stronger leaders.
Fully funded by The London Borough of Harrow, it is designed to invest in you: the women shaping our borough through business, community work, and everyday leadership.
The programme will be delivered by Instep
What the programme offers
Whether you're already leading or just beginning to explore what leadership means to you, this programme offers the medium to grow, connect, and step forward with confidence.
- Practical leadership development tailored to women’s experiences
- Confidence-building workshops and personal growth tools
- Mentoring from experienced women leaders
- A network of peers who understand your journey
It is open to women who are:
- Early-career professionals with leadership potential
- Business owners and your colleagues seeking growth
- Interested in Level 3 or 5 nationally recognised qualifications accredited by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI)
- Passionate about inclusion and shaping positive workplace cultures
- Able to commit to at least 6 hours per week

We’re hosting two Insight Sessions to introduce the programme and answer your questions:
- Friday 10th October at 10:00am.
- Wednesday 15th October at 12:00 noon.
If you’re curious, come along. These sessions are informal, welcoming, and a great way to explore whether the opportunity is right for you.
