This service is for adults aged 18 who are registered with a Harrow GP and have suspected autism spectrum disorder conditions.
What does the service provide?
Autism Spectrum Disorders, including Aspergers Syndrome, can be difficult to identify in adults. Some people may go undiagnosed without specialist assessment. The Kingswood Centre’s Autism Diagnostic Team uses specialist assessment tools for diagnosis. These assessment tools identify social communication and interaction, repetitive and stereotypical behaviour issues. You will receive:
- a full feedback report
- a follow-up session for families
- recommendations for accessing local services
How do I access the service?
Referrals are made by GPs or other health professionals, such Adult Mental Health services
The service is available Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. It is provided by Central North West London NHS Foundation Trust (CNWL).
