Listed buildings, Scheduled Ancient Monuments, Registered Parks and Gardens and Conservation Areas that are vulnerable to decay or neglect can be added to Historic England's Heritage at risk searchable register.
Each heritage item is classified by priority and condition. The register is updated each year as buildings, landscapes and monuments are re-used, rehabilitated and restored and new vulnerable sites are identified.
Once a building, monument or landscape has been rehabilitated it is taken off the register.
We successfully had Bentley Priory mansion house removed from the register after its restoration in 2013.
