Come and see the new plans for Byron Quarter

On Tuesday (12 March) the revamped housing plans for Phase 1 of Byron Quarter will be unveiled at a public exhibition in Harrow Leisure Centre.

The event, which runs from 2pm to 8pm, marks the start of a public consultation into the revised new homes development, which is a partnership between landowners London Borough of Harrow, and Wates Residential.

The latest proposals, which go to planning later this year, have responded to residents’ earlier concerns around the height of some buildings, the type of homes being planned and how it sits within the existing environment of traditional housing, the Belmont Trail, Byron Park and Wealdstone Cemetery.

A leaflet promoting the event has been delivered to homes around Byron Park and an article also included in this week’s MyHarrowNews, and Harrow People, delivery of which is now taking place.

Can’t make the event?

The consultation boards will be online at www.byronquarter2024.commonplace.is  from next Tuesday until 2 April. They will not be live until the consultation event on Tuesday 12 March.

In the meantime, you can read about the Plans that were approved at Cabinet in January.
