Licensing Public Register

The Licensing Act 2003 requires licensing authorities to keep a register. It must list all licensing applications they receive. We are also required to keep a register of all licences that we have issued.

Searching the licensing public register

You can search for pending applications or issued licences on our licensing register.

You are able to search by:

  • premises address
  • licence type
  • reference.

Commenting on applications

To make an objection or comment on any of the applications, search for a licence application.

Your representation should fit the specific premises. It should address the likely impact of the application on promoting the licensing objectives. These objectives are:

  • the prevention of crime and disorder
  • public safety
  • the prevention of public nuisance
  • the protection of children from harm

If your representation is accepted as relevant, it will be sent to the applicant. They will also get any other accepted representations. This lets the applicant address the raised points.

We are required to provide a full copy of your representation including your name and address. Your representation will also be in the paperwork for the hearing. The hearing will be public and on our website.

You don't have to disclose personal details when you fear that doing so will make you a victim of intimidation. If this is the case, please make this known in your representation.

It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with an application and the maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for the offence is unlimited.

If you can't find the application you want, or want to leave a comment email licensing@harrow.gov.uk.
