0-19 Health Visiting and School Nursing Service

The health visiting service is for under fives.  The school nursing service is for those aged 5 to 19. 

Both services deliver the Healthy Child Programme in Harrow. For the under fives this mainly means the five mandated reviews at:

  • antenatal (targeted review in Harrow, not universal)
  • new birth
  • 6-8 weeks
  • 12 months
  • 24 months.

For school aged children and young people it means:

The Council has a contract with CNWL to deliver the health visiting and school nursing service.  If you have any queries please contact health visiting or school nursing directly.
