This June, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II will become the first British Monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee - 70 years on the throne.
The Platinum Jubilee celebrations will centre around a four-day bank holiday weekend from Thursday 2 to Sunday 5 June 2022.
To help celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee, many residents requested to mark the occasion by holding a street party and applied to close a road free of charge for one day over the Jubilee bank holiday weekend.
The council will also be holding several events and activities to mark the Queen's Platinum Jubilee, including the lighting of the Queen's beacon.
More details of planned Jubilee events will be added to this page.
