Information, advice and advocacy strategy

This is the Council's first Information, Advice and Advocacy (IAA) Strategy.

It sets out how the Council and the Voluntary Community Sector (VCS) will work together to meet the need for information, advice and advocacy. This strategy provides an outline for working in an efficient and effective way within the resources available to improve resident's experience of accessing these services.

The following two documents set out the information used to inform the Council's IAA strategy.

  • The Data Gathering Survey Report consolidates and reviews the feedback from information and advice service users, and service providers, on providing and accessing information and advice. It was gathered from interviews and surveys undertaken for this strategy.
  • The Needs Analysis Report sets out and explains the most common and urgent issues currently affecting Harrow residents.

A new IAA strategy will be published in 2023.
