Help with our website

This web page will give you guidance about how best to use this website.

Navigation

Moving your mouse over the services button at the top right of the webpage will bring up our list of topics.

By selecting a topic you will be taken to a landing page with narrower interest areas and relevant content.

Once you arrive at a page you can back track by using the bread crumb links. The bread crumb is a hyperlink trail representing where you’ve been on the site and it is shown under the Harrow Council logo.

Alternatively you can retrace your steps by using the browser’s back button.

Search

At the top of each webpage is a magnifying glass which when clicked will help you search for information on our website.

Enter one or more keywords and select search or press 'Enter' on your keyboard. This will return a list of pages which are related to the word or words you have searched for.

Documents

The majority of downloadable files on our site are PDF files. To view a PDF file you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader which you can download for free from the Adobe website. Most modern devices come preloaded with this software.
