You can make a change to the name on your bill if:
- it has been spelt incorrectly
- you have changed your name due to marriage
- you have legally changed your name
Report a name spelt incorrectly
You will be asked to provide the following details
- Your council tax account reference number
- The name as it is currently shown on your bill
- The correct spelling
Report a name change due to marriage
Before you start, you will need to have:
- Your Council Tax Reference number
- A digital copy of your marriage certificate, maximum size 9.8 MB (Types: BMP, DOC, DOCX, GIF, JPG, PDF, PNG, JPEG)
Report a name change by deed poll
Before you start, you will need to have:
- Your Council Tax reference number
- A digital copy of the deed poll document, maximum size 9.8 MB (Types: BMP, DOC, DOCX, GIF, JPG, PDF, PNG, JPEG)
