You can make a change to the name on your bill if:

  • it has been spelt incorrectly
  • you have changed your name due to marriage
  • you have legally changed your name

Report a name spelt incorrectly

You will be asked to provide the following details

  • Your council tax account reference number
  • The name as it is currently shown on your bill
  • The correct spelling

  • A digital copy of your marriage certificate, maximum size 9.8 MB (Types: BMP, DOC, DOCX, GIF, JPG, PDF, PNG, JPEG)
