Partnership with ReachOut

London Borough of Harrow understands that residents may sometimes experience difficulty in paying Council Tax and other household bills.

We also appreciate that it may be hard to know what to do next.

That's why we have entered into a partnership with ReachOut.

Who are ReachOut?

They are a specialist company with the aim of helping Council Taxpayers contacted.

ReachOut isn’t a debt collection agency. They can’t take payments. There are no costs or fees for you to pay to them if they should contact you.

Their empathetic, friendly and helpful staff (they call “Pathfinders”) offer a confidential service. They give guidance based on individual circumstances. They can put you in touch with charities and organisations that may be able to offer financial grants, support and advice.

ReachOut will aim to make contact by letter followed by telephone and / or text message.  If you should receive any of the above, please contact them.

Please ensure that you check the validity of the information you receive before discussing your Council Tax with them.  For example, you may ask them what your Council Tax account reference number is, the date of your last payment or the amount of your Council Tax outstanding. You can check this information on your MyHarrow Account.
