Could you be a foster carer?
Be an ordinary person doing an extraordinary thing!
Some children are unable to be cared for by their own parents for a variety of reasons. Could you step in and help out?
Foster carers look after these children in their own home until the child can safely go home or go to alternative permanent care. You could offer a safe, secure and warm home to a child when their own family is unable to.
Can I foster?
Fostering is for all. You can be single, gay, straight, a couple or a family, homeowner, renting, in employment or not working.
You need to be over 18 years of age, in good health, have no child related criminal offences and be able to provide a suitable home environment.
