Early Help Family Support

Our Early Help Family Support is for families who need additional support from an Early Help Practitioner. It is for families with children aged 0-19 (25 if there are special educational needs). We offer whole family support, and we identify areas of need that are the focus of this work. This work is for families who are affected by multiple issues such as:

  • Parenting support in manging your children’s and young people’s behaviour: supporting children through difficulties and parents to understand their child’s behaviour and why there might be difficulties
  • Supporting families to build resilience and keeping their children safe.
  • Supporting children of all ages to be in education or training to raise their aspirations, recognising additional needs that require specialist support and ensuring families can access this.
  • Emotional health and well-being: supporting families – both adults and children - to manage health difficulties and access relevant services
  • 'Team Around the Family' meetings, working with other professionals to support you.
  • Regular visits to see families
