Home-based childcare course
If you have decided to pursue a career in childminding you must attend the following course 'Preparing to work in Home-based Childcare HBCA'. These are held termly and the next available course starts on the 11 January 2018 at Harrow College (Harrow Weald Campus). This is an 11 week course held for one evening a week and includes paediatric first aid as part of the cost. This course will provide you with all the information and tools you need to become a childminder.
An initial verbal and written assessment will need to be completed at Harrow College before you are accepted onto the course.
This course is partially funded by Harrow Early Years. For Spring 2018, the cost per student is £300 per course.
