Harrow now boasts 10 Green Flag Parks West Harrow Park and Pinner Village Gardens join 8 existing award-winning Harrow parks
We’ve done it again! We’re celebrating a record 10 Green Flag parks in Harrow - and with two new additions!
West Harrow Park and Pinner Village Gardens have earnt their Green Flag status for the first time joining 8 others that have retained their status as one of the best in the country. West Harrow Park is a well-loved historical park which recently marked its 100th birthday. Recent upgrade works included a new playground, and other facilities like tennis courts and outdoor gym for the local community.
Pinner Village Gardens is a hidden gem tucked away in the heart of Pinner. It’s a special place full of bloom all year around thanks to the dedication of the local friends group.
The judges were impressed with the joint efforts of volunteers, park user groups and the council’s parks team who have helped keep our parks at a high standard.
