Last night Cllr Paul Osborn, Leader of the Council confirmed who will be on his cabinet.
Ten cabinet members will oversee key services (also known as portfolios) and drive the Council’s priorities. They will be joined by two new non-executive cabinet members.
New to the cabinet is Cllr Chris Baxter, and Cllr Chetna Halai. Cllr Yogesh Teli is the new Mayor of Harrow, and Cllr Mina Parmar Deputy Mayor of Harrow.
The first cabinet meeting will be held on Thursday 11 June.
Cllr Paul Osborn, Leader of the Council said:
“I am proud of what we have been able to achieve over the last four years to restore pride in Harrow, but I know there is much more still to do.
“We’ll continue to deliver on the things that matter to our residents over the next four years.
“That includes making it much harder to convert family homes into Houses of Multiple Occupancy (HMOs), investing in our roads and street cleansing, progressing with genuine affordable homes, supporting families and young people, protecting our green spaces, more green flag parks, and ensuring we are delivering high quality services that offer value for money.
“There lots to do, and our corporate plan sets out our priorities for the coming years. My cabinet are committed to drive forward our key priorities are Putting Residents First, delivering a borough that is Clean and Safe, and Supporting those most in Need.”
