New Resident Contact Centre now open

Resident Contact Centre

Getting help from the London Borough of Harrow just got a whole lot easier.

  • Now easier than ever to get council enquiries sorted
  • In person help and support with new self service options
  • New purpose designed building located in Harrow Town Centre

We’ve opened the doors to our  Resident Contact Centre on Gayton Road, bringing friendly, in person support. Whether it’s Blue Badge, Council Tax, benefits, applying for garden waste, help with parking permits, or simply a question you want answered by a real person,  this is your go-to place.

For vulnerable residents at risk of homelessness, appointments can be made if they are unable to do so online or over the phone.

We’ve upgraded the existing space to include face-to-face counters for specific advice, self-service points and a reception counter for quick enquiries. The Resident Contact Centre gives you a welcoming place to sort out everyday enquiries with staff who know how to help.

Find us at:

  • Resident Contact Centre, 6 Gayton Road, Harrow, HA1 2FB
  • Open Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm
  • The quickest way to get things sorted is online: harrow.gov.uk

Cllr Stephen Greek, Cabinet Member for performance, communications and customer experience said:

“Our new Resident Contact Centre is a major step towards Putting residents first and improving customer experience. It’s now easier than ever to get in touch with the Council

We’ve already reopened our general enquiries phone line and have made several improvements to make contacting the council easier and speeding up how quickly we respond to resident enquiries.

“Now with friendly, in-person support, residents can feel confident that help is right here when they need it. We’ll keep investing in the services people rely on most, delivering the level of service people expect and deserve.”

And we’re not just stopping there – our new digital self-service kiosks are on the way. The first is already up and running at Wealdstone Library, giving residents a quick and queue-free way to access key council services.
