An ambitious and exciting plan for the future of Harrow were approved at full council last month. Our corporate plan, and the 2026-27 budget were also agreed.
The Corporate Plan sets the direction for the council, guiding our priorities, shapes our day‑to‑day decisions, and ensures we’re all working together to deliver the best for Harrow’s residents.
These include our plans to:
- Resurface 60 roads and 35 pavements with our four year £56m highways upgrade.
- Stop family homes turning into small HMOs without permission (Article 4).
- Trial longer Recycling Centre hours during peak times.
- Crack down on nuisance vehicles with a permanent removal team.
- Install 20 new cameras (10 CCTV + 10 ANPR) to tackle crime anti-social behaviour
- Increase Harrow’s Green Flag parks to 10, including West Harrow Rec and Pinner Village Gardens.
- Add 21 large bins in 15 parks to keep them tidy
- Support 10 care leavers with training and job opportunities.
- Help 200 residents stay well with specialist activity programmes.
- ... and much more
