Stalls, children’s rides, food and live entertainment as businesses showcase the high street. Market to support and celebrate local businesses.
Fun for all the family is promised as Pinner High Street will host a weekend market on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th October 2021.
There will be a variety of stalls from local businesses selling food and drink, arts and crafts, fashion clothing, jewellery and much more, including children’s rides and live entertainment.
The market will provide existing local businesses the opportunity to remind customers about their offer and promote their businesses.
The event, which will trade from 10am to 5pm both days, will be free for local businesses to have a stall and compliment, not compete against them.
The activities are part of a funding grant Harrow Council has been awarded from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) from the Welcome Back Fund.
The fund supports the return to high streets safely and help build back better from the pandemic.
Cllr Keith Ferry, Business, Property & Leisure Portfolio Holder, said:
“The Welcome Back Market promises to be a great day out for all the family as well as a showcase for our wonderful high streets.
As well as being fun and exciting, the market will be a great way to remind shoppers what our local businesses have to offer and support the return to high streets safely, as we build back better from the pandemic. Come along on 9 and 10 October to show your support.
“We already have an impressive number of businesses on board, but there is room for more, so why not get involved?”
We are still taking applications. Businesses wanting to apply for a market stall should complete and return the trader’s application to Mike Evans at The Retail Group: email@example.com.
