Tell us what you think of the chosen designs
It’s time to paint our towns … You arty people told us what mural designs and colours you wanted to lift your spirits and inspire you in Wealdstone and Rayners Lane - and now we’re going to create them for you (subject to planning permission, of course!)
We had a great response to our consultations earlier this year – thank you for showing how proud you are of your neighbourhoods.
The issues we faced with painting a mural on the wall of 1 High Street, Wealdstone, have also been resolved.
The architects WeTheSeeds Creative developed a welcome sign to Wealdstone and with its bright and cheerful colours, it also reflects the diversity of Wealdstone’s people, as well as its industrial and creative heritage.
Here are the designs with the most votes – we just ask you to make any comments online as planning permission is considered:
33 High Street, Wealdstone Square – designed by STATIC
51 High Street – designed by Yinka Ilori
1 High Street – designed by WeTheSeeds Creative
33 Imperial Drive – designed by STATIC
Rayners Lane Bridge – designed by STATIC
