Parking enforcement on Controlled Parking Zones (CPZs) start again in October

Throughout the Covid-19 crisis, we eased parking restrictions in Controlled Parking Zones (CPZ) to help you get through what has been a difficult time.

With lockdown now beginning to ease, businesses re-opening and people going back to work, it means more cars will be on the roads and people trying to park in permit holders’ spaces.

From October 1 enforcement on CPZs will be re-introduced. This is to ensure residents can park in spaces that they are paying for and to keep our roads safe.

We will now begin to contact all current permit holders about permits going forward. This includes information about extensions to cover the months your permit was valid for during the period of non enforcement.
