Make sure you don't lose your voice! We want to check your voter registration details are up to date as we get ready for the Census.
We need to keep the electoral register up to date, so starting today (Monday 20 July) - if we hold your email address- we’ll be sending you an email to ask you to confirm that the details we hold for your property are correct. If it’s not correct, you can make changes.
If we don’t have your email, we will send a paper form to your property in August. This ensures that we can keep the electoral register up to date, identify any residents not registered so that they can be encouraged to do so.
When you get the email (or letter if we don’t have your email), please make sure you respond as soon as possible.

There are many benefits to registering on the electoral roll including:
- Your right to vote in and have your say in local, London and national elections
- Helps you get a better credit score when applying for a mortgage, getting a car or mobile phone contract
- Helps with renting a property
