The resources listed below provide access to a variety of online courses for personal development and general interest.

  • Driving Theory Test Pro: This is a highly realistic simulation of the UK's driving theory tests, for all vehicle categories. It contains all the official test questions from the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency. Simply create an account with your library membership number and personal details. Your progress will be recorded as you work through the course.
  • GoCitizen: Everything you need to prepare and pass the Life in the UK Test on your first attempt. Unlimited access to study materials from the Home Office. Unlimited access to practice questions in the same format as the official test. Just create an account with your library membership number and personal details, and your progress will be recorded as you work through the course.
  • Life Skills: Online guides to help people in the United Kingdom who are facing changes in their life. When using these resources for the first time click on the 'Signup' link and enter your library membership number. With an account you'll get access to all the life-skills courses.
  • Universal Credit: Find out everything that you need to know about the Universal Credit system including tips on monthly budgeting, and links to helpful sites.
  • Job Skills: This guide contains lots of hints and tips to help you find your ideal job in the UK. The easy-to-read pages will tell you all you need to know. They provide advice on looking for jobs, interviews, and actually starting work. You’ll find many tips on where to find local jobs as well as lots of links to the careers and job vacancies section of numerous national employers.
  • Find A Job: Follow the step-by-step instructions to help you create your 'Jobseeker account', set up a profile, and search for jobs.
