Dance

Harrow arts centre offers the community a terrific variety of entertainment from both professional and community companies. It is the only dedicated performing arts venue in the borough and works in close partnership with local organisations and community groups to deliver an inclusive, educational and accessible programme of events and activities for the diverse community of Harrow.

The ballroom dance school provides group lessons at Harrow Arts Centre as well as private lessons in Pinner or your own home. The school's aim is to provide students with state-of-the-art dancing education and techniques which will enable them to become confident social dancers.

Grimsdyke Brass is a traditional British brass band with a wide concert repertoire. The band practises every Tuesday evening at Harrow Arts Centre, Hatch End and gives concerts in and around Harrow throughout the year.

Harrow Choral Society are an amateur choir of about 120 singers who aim to perform to the highest standard and to enjoy singing.  They rehearse once a week on Monday evenings and usually perform four concerts a year.  They also have occasional short tours abroad

Harrow Concert Band is a wind band concentrating on classical through swing and early pop to music from the shows. They rehearse on Sunday mornings at Harrow arts centre.

Visual Arts

Harrow art society is the oldest surviving art society in the area.  It was founded in 1934 to promote interest in the arts in Harrow. From October until July there is a programme of lectures, demonstrations and practical sessions.  For members there are also a series of all day workshops

Laura Reiter is a mixed media artist who holds weekly classes at the Harrow arts centre and offers teaching sessions in Pinner
