How the Coronavirus is affecting Civic Centre appointments

Due to the current Coronavirus (COVID-19) threat we are not longer accepting bookings for appointments at our Civic Centre one-stop-shop.

Your health and wellbeing is important to us and we are making every effort to prioritise our capacity at this time to ensure we minimise disruptions to the services that matter most to you.

All prior booked appointments are now postponed. We do offer assisted access to the self service area and cash kiosks.

We ask that you also follow all advice from NHS and GOV.UK to protect yourself and others.

Frequently asked questions

Below are some frequently asked questions that you have been asking. We will aim to update these regularly.

Can I still visit the one-stop-shop?

Government advice is to stay at home and only travel if it essential. All our service can be accessed online.

Can I still book appointment to be seen by an advisor?

Unfortunately due to strict social distancing regulations, you can no longer book appointments at the moment to be seen by an advisor.

If you have documents to submit to us, you can send them via the post or come into the civic centre and use the post box available in reception. 

Please ensure that all post is clearly marked for the attention of the department it is for.

Will the computers still be available?

No, however this is subject to change depending on guidance from the Government.

Will the kiosks be available?

Yes, however this is subject to change depending on guidance from the Government.

Will there be any floor walkers available to help?

No, unfortunately due to the governments guidance of social distancing, there will be no floor walkers available to help you in the one-stop-shop.

Will the main reception be open?

Yes, however this is subject to change depending on guidance from the Government.

Can I still hand in documents (In the internal post box)?

Yes you can deliver important documents in our internal post box is not in service. Some documents can also be uploaded online.

Please note you must write the department the documents are for before you post them.
