You can access a wide range of information and documents relating to the council’s decision making processes on these pages, find out about forthcoming Council meetings and decisions and also obtain details of your local representatives.

Committee meetings

Information regarding Council, Cabinet and committee meetings including agendas and minutes of previous meetings, as well as officer reports discussed at previous meetings is available. Information is also provided on dates of future meetings, and issues that will be discussed in future.

The Council’s committees are also listed on the committees page where more information can be found.

Accessing committee documents via your tablet or smartphone

mod.gov app icon Committee agendas and minutes can now be downloaded via the new mod.gov app for Apple iPads or Android tablet devices and smartphones. The app can be found by searching for mod.gov in the Apple Store or Google Playstore. If you need some handy hints on how to use the app there is a walkthrough guide to help you.

Elected representatives

You can discover which Councillors represent you and find out more information about them on the councillors page. Some Councillors are appointed to represent the Council on various outside bodies. These bodies are independent of the council.

You can also view details of this council’s MPs and MEPs.

How to get involved

It is possible to subscribe to updates in order to receive information via e-mail regarding particular issues and committee meetings.

Decisions

Information is available regarding the decisions taken by Cabinet, committees and portfolio holders.

Election Results

Election results from 2006 onwards are available on the election results page.

Key Decision Schedule

The key decision schedule is published monthly and sets out the key decisions which the Cabinet expects to take within the next three months.

Calendar of Meetings

Committee meetings which are due to take place can be viewed on the Council’s calendar of meetings page.

Library

The library contains various documents of interest, including committee and planning guides, the Council’s Constitution and the monthly Councillors’ Information Circulars.
