Headstone Manor is the only moated manor house left in Middlesex and dates back to the 14th century. This Grade 1
listed building was orginally part of the estate beloning to the Archbishops of Canterbury and of particular note from that time is the timber framed aisled hall. The Manor House is part of the medieval estate of Harrow Museum which also contains Grade 11 listed timber barns and a five hundred year old Tithe Barn.
Tours of the site are available to the public at 3.00pm between April and October for a fee of £3.00. Private group tours can be booked in advance.
NEW: Duck Pond Market will coming to Harrow Museum on the second Sunday of every month from Sunday 14 June from 10.00am-3.00pm. There will be an exciting and vibrant market plus hot food stalls and live music, giving the market an additional festival feel.
Temporary exhibitions take place throughout the year at the Tithe Barn and the site also offers a regular calender of annual events. Alternatively why not relax with some jazz on a Sunday afternoon.
