4 finalists, 1 winner and lots of business networking. Save the date for this year’s Harrow Business Den!

The stage is ready for Harrow’s most eagerly awaited business event – Harrow Business Den.

A night where local entrepreneurs and businesses connect and share their business ideas and tips – and you are invited!

As well as making new business connections, and who knows, perhaps your next business partner or client, on 13 March you’ll also get to watch four local entrepreneurs go head to head to win a year’s business support in our very own ‘Dragon’s Den’ style competition.

The judges have their work cut out with this year’s finalists! They are MAD Naturally - a handmade vegan and cruelty free cosmetic range; Letterbox Brownies – a gift idea that can be sent all over the UK; iParcelBox – secure and weatherproof smart parcel delivery box; and educ8all Ltd – a virtual platform with access to courses for primary, secondary and college students.

Cllr Keith Ferry, portfolio holder for Business, Planning and Regeneration said:

“This isn’t just any business event – it’s the biggest and most popular business event in Harrow where people leave inspired and motivated to succeed. And that’s what we’re about – helping our business community flourish by putting them in direct contact with the experts.

“Every year the event exceeds expectation, with high quality entries for the competition and fantastic networking opportunities for business men and women. I wish our finalists the best of luck and look forward to meeting many of our local businesses and entrepreneurs.”

The judging panel this year features a special guest – Shalini Patel, founder of Red Dot Jewels which specialises in handcrafted Indian-inspired fine jewellery and is widely recognised nationally with regular features in well-known and popular Asian bridal magazines.

She will be joined by Naima Omasta-Milsom from Stanmore Business and Innovation Centre; Nick Howe from Natwest; and Lee Westwood from Sopra Steria.

Join us on 13 March, 5.30pm at the Civic Centre and watch the final of the Business Den competition. For more information and to book your place, visit Eventbrite.

This year’s event is sponsored by Equita, GFL, Sopra Steria, and APH events. Our supporters are Virgin StartUp, London Business Partnership and Anita Gohil Thorp.
