Nominate someone amazing for a Harrow’s Heroes Award!

Not all heroes wear capes! Harrow’s Heroes – the night where we celebrate and award our local heroes is back this September.

It’s now your chance to nominate someone for this year’s awards and give recognition to the amazing people who make Harrow a special place to live and work. These are our heroes who sacrifice their time and energy to go above and beyond their call of duty to help improve the lives of others and their community.

From our volunteers, scouts, mentors, and litter-pickers to our teachers and emergency services, there are thousands of selfless people who live or work in Harrow making a huge difference - often without the recognition they deserve. So what are you waiting for, download the nomination form and nominate someone today!

Cllr Graham Henson, Leader of Harrow Council said:

“From the small acts of kindness to changing or even saving lives – these are our heroes and we have an army full of them, here in Harrow. We want to hear their stories and give them the recognition they truly deserve. So if you know a person or group who have gone above and beyond to help your community, nominate them now.”

On Friday 25 May, come along to our launch event in Harrow Town Centre between 1pm and 3pm where you can find out more about the awards and how to nominate.
