Cooking up a spooky treat this half term

Little monsters can have some frighteningly good Halloween fun at their fingertips next week at Harrow Cookery School.

From brewing up some scary cupcakes and ghoulish biscuits to turning rocks into monsters and making spiders out of plant pots, there’s lots to do to prepare for the witching hour while school is out.
Here’s a taster of what tricks the spooky cooking and craft workshops, geared up for six to 11-year-olds, might throw out there:

Monday 23 October
Making - pumpkin plaques and fridge magnet frames
Baking - rocky road

Tuesday 24 October
Making - monster frames
Baking – haunting cupcakes

Wednesday 25 October
Making - plant pot spiders
Baking – spooky biscuits

Thursday 26 October
Making - plate decorations of bats, pumpkins and monsters, along with hanging ghosts
Baking –  cupcakes

Friday 27 October
Making - rock monsters
Baking - firework cookies

Halloween fans aged 6-11 can come along daily from 10am-3pm to the Civic Centre, Civic 7, Station Road, Harrow. Each session costs £28 (15% discount for siblings) or book all 5 sessions for the price of 4.
