Volunteering opportunities at Headstone Manor & Museum and Recreation Ground

Headstone Manor

As the impressive three year transformation of Headstone Manor & Museum nears completion there are new opportunities for volunteers to help restore this 1,200-year-old heritage site.

From removing scrub and overgrown vegetation, to river clear-ups, there are lots of ways you can get involved with the historic site and be part of something special.

The conservation days are being held on Saturday 5th August, Saturday 19 August and Sunday 3 September, from 10am to 3pm, meeting at the car park, Headstone Manor Museum, Pinner View, Harrow HA2 6PX. All equipment is provided, you just need to wear comfortable clothes, stout footwear and bring a packed lunch.

Adjacent to Headstone Manor & Museum is Headstone Manor Recreation Ground. We are trying to secure funding to restore the quality, vitality and attractiveness of the park. We are also keen to know if volunteers would like to get involved with helping us to make the park a more attractive place to visit.

If you are interested in finding out how to get involved please complete the Headstone Manor Recreation ground volunteer survey.
