Mayor's chosen charity nominated for top award

Harrow Law Centre shortlisted in Legal Aid Firm of the Year category.

Harrow Law Centre is in line for a prestigious award from the Legal Aid Practitioners’ Group. The centre, which provides free and independent legal advice to Harrow residents and workers, is one of the Mayor’s chosen charities.

Harrow Law Centre has been nominated in the Legal Aid Firm of the Year category, sponsored by the Law Society.

The winners will be announced at a ceremony in central London tomorrow, 5 July.

Legal Aid Practitioners Group director Carol Storer says: "It is such a privilege to be able to celebrate the ground-breaking, life-changing work of access to justice lawyers. The calibre of this year's nominations was staggeringly high, and a real reflection of the expertise, grit and compassion which characterises the legal aid sector.”
