Harrow Council rallying on foster families to help make a life changing difference for young children in Harrow.

Foster Care Fortnight takes place from Monday 8 May to Sunday 21 May, and is the UK’s biggest foster care campaign, delivered by leading fostering charity, The Fostering Network. During this national Foster Care Fortnight, Harrow Council is urging anyone interested in helping to foster children to come along to a recruitment day on Thursday 25 May at the Civic Centre.

At least 7,180 new foster families will be needed across the UK during 2017 to provide stable, secure and loving homes for record numbers of fostered children, according to new figures from The Fostering Network.

If you’re interested in making a difference to a young person’s life join us at our next Foster carer event on Thursday 25 May, 6.30pm to 8.30pm at Harrow Civic centre, Station Road, Harrow.
