Grange First School and Grange Middle School remain closed after flooding

Grange First School and Grange Middle School will be closed until Thursday 12 March as both of the schools have no water supply following the flooding last week.
Due to a burst water main pipe under the concrete flooring in the Middle School, the building has had to remain closed while the problem is resolved.
Contractors have been working with Thames Valley to resolve the problem over the weekend and this week.
Cllr Anjana Patel, Portfolio Holder for Schools and Children's Development, said: "We are doing all that we can to ensure that this issue is resolved as quickly as possible.
"Due to the severity of the problem, the water pipe needs to be replaced and the flooring needs to be relayed. We hope that the school will be able to re-open on Thursday."
