Documents you need to provide to join the library

After you have completed the registration form you will be able to collect your library membership card from any of the libraries in Harrow.

To collect your card you will be required to provide:

  • proof of your signature and address e.g. driving licence or bank card
  • proof of a disability if applicable e.g. a Blue Badge

Library PIN number

You will need a PIN to access some library online services and the internet on library computers. Usually your PIN is given to you when you join the library. You will need to keep this secure as it also gives access to your own personal borrower record.

If you were not given your PIN when you joined the library, or if you have lost it, please visit any Harrow library with your library card and some ID to obtain it. You may be asked some security questions.

Home library service

If you are unable to visit the library due to a disability you can borrow books from the home library service.
