Unitary Development Plan
Proposals Map
The Proposals Map DPD, will illustrate locations and identify sites for particular land uses as detailed in the development plan documents (DPDs) policies. This will include areas for protection such as open space and conservation areas, as well as employment and residential activities.
The proposals map must be on an Ordnance Survey map at a scale that allows the DPD policies and proposals to be clearly illustrated. The adopted proposals map has the status of a DPD and is a separate document. The proposals map DPD will eventually replace the existing map in the Harrow UDP. The council is required to revised the proposals map each time a new DPD is adopted and will prepare and consult on a revised proposals map when needed to illustrate new policies. The timetable for when this work will start is detailed in the Local Development Scheme (LDS).
