Playbuilder's vision
We want to ensure:
- Good quality playgrounds that offer children opportunities for growth, development, confidence, self-esteem, exploration and challenge
- Every Harrow child has the right to play freely and safely
- Play spaces should be rich, safe and stimulating environments
- The development of good quality, accessible playgrounds include the active and meaningful participation of children and young people
- The public realm should be a child-friendly space, enjoyed equally by children, young people and adults
- Good quality playgrounds contribute to the development and maintenance of cohesive communities
Better playgrounds with Playbuilder Programme
Our aim for the playgrounds:
- To be more innovative, exciting and interesting
- Challenging equipment for a variety of ages, with a focus on natural features such as water, rocks and landscaping
