NOTICE OF ELECTION
LONDON BOROUGH OF HARROW
ELECTION OF A BOROUGH COUNCILLOR
1. There is to be an election to elect one councillor in:
West Harrow Ward
2. Nomination papers may be obtained from the Returning Officer at Harrow Registration Services, Civic Centre, Station Road, Harrow, HA1 2UX who will give advice, if asked, on the completion of those papers.
3. Nomination papers must be delivered to the Returning Officer at Harrow Registration Services, Civic Centre, Station Road, Harrow, HA1 2UX on any weekday after the date of this notice but no later than noon on 25th January 2013.
4. If the election for the Ward is contested, the poll will take place on 21st February 2013 from 7 am to 10 pm.
Postal and Proxy voting
Electors and their proxies should take note that applications or changes to applications to be treated as a postal voter must have reached the Electoral Registration Officer at the Civic Centre, Station Road, Harrow, by 5pm on 6th February 2013 if they are to be effective for the election.
Changes or cancellations to existing postal or proxy votes must be made in writing to the Electoral Registration Officer at the Civic Centre, Station Road, Harrow and received by 5pm on 6th February 2013.
Any elector who wishes to apply to vote by proxy must make this request in writing. The request must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at the Civic Centre, Station Road, Harrow, by 5pm on 13th February 2013 to be effective for the election.
Applications for emergency proxy votes where the applicant became disabled after 5pm on 13th February 2013 must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at the Civic Centre, Station Road, Harrow, by 5pm on 21st February 2013.
