Review of Polling Districts and Polling Places
NOTICE - Review of Polling Districts and Polling Places
The London Borough of Harrow is undertaking the 2011 statutory review of its polling district and polling stations.
Section 18(C) of the Representation of the People Act 1983 requires the London Borough of Harrow to review its polling district and polling places every four years. The previous statutory review was undertaken in 2007.
The Returning Officer will make comments on the proposed polling stations.
Electors within the authority or within a parliamentary constituency which has any part in the authority are invited to make a representation and the authority would welcome any person or body with expertise in access for persons with any type of disability to make a representation or to comment on the authority's proposals, the Returning Officer's representations or any other matter.
Any persons or bodies making representations should, if possible, give alternative places that may be used as polling places.
The consultation period will begin on Monday 1st August 2011 and end Friday 16th September 2011.
Information about the current polling districts and polling stations can be found on the Council's website or is available from the Electoral Services Office.
Representations should be made in writing - contact details on the right.
